The beacon, bought once
Components currently come to around 315 euros per beacon, based on the unit prices recorded in the dossier. The selling price envisaged sits between 350 and 380 euros for a volume purchase, higher for a single unit.
The Teskideh beacon does not exist yet. No unit is on sale, and no delivery date is announced. This form exists to build the group of first field testers, for when prototypes exist.
In the meantime, the mobile app already works, and its demonstration mode lets you go through every function.
These figures are working assumptions from the dossier submitted to the competition in July 2026. Nothing is on sale, no price is settled, and these numbers will move with the first pilot.

A satellite line costs roughly 15 euros per month activated. Rather than a permanent subscription, it would only be opened for the length of a journey. A haulier who drives four months a year would not pay for the other eight.
Each satellite message has a real cost of 0.09 to 0.37 euros. It would be covered by a credit bought in advance. Since sending is a manual gesture, kept for danger, it stays rare by nature.
Sales are aimed at professionals first. A company running twenty lorries means twenty beacons and twenty lines. A single contract of that kind weighs more, and costs less to support, than dozens of scattered individual sales.
That is the question to ask, and it deserves an honest answer rather than a sales pitch.
The beacons already on the market work. A Garmin inReach Mini 2 costs in the region of 240 to 270 euros, plus a subscription from 15 euros a month, so roughly 420 to 450 euros over a first year. It is proven hardware, which Teskideh is not yet.
What Teskideh aims to do differently. A price thought out for the Chadian market rather than converted from Europe. An interface in Arabic as much as in French. Someone reachable locally, for a fault as much as for a question.
What remains to be proven. None of those three points is worth anything until the beacon has sent a first real message. That is the next step, and it is costed below.
